Summary
Reporting into the Shop Foreman/Supervisor, the role involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.
Primary Scope Of Role
- Making field service calls to repair.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks & trailers on site and within the shop.
- Experience with GM, Ford pickups & Kenworth trucks will be an asset.
- 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification.
- 310T Level 2 / Level 3 & 310S are welcome to apply.
- Automotive experience preferred but not required.
- Willing to work on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
- Safety certification inspections.
- Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
- Must have Mechanical and mathematic aptitude.
- Should be physically fit.
- Must have own tools.
- 10-hour shifts.
- Work may involve weekends and overtime as required.
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skill.
- Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
- Expected Base Salary: $40.88 - $45.42 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location and market expectations.
