Equipment World Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounting Team!
If you're great with numbers, love keeping things organized, and have a knack for making sure everything adds up, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Accounting Team, you'll help keep our financial operations running smoothly across our Northern Ontario branches.
- Keep the numbers in check! Prepare and process invoices, account statements, work orders, and other financial documents.
- Balance it all. Enter, verify, and reconcile receivables, payments, credits, deposits, and financial transactions.
- Keep our branches connected. Review invoices, transfers, and reports for accuracy while supporting branch teams with accounts receivable inquiries.
- Stay on top of daily transactions. Reconcile rental transactions, process batches, and manage POS deposits.
- Help new customers get started. Coordinate customer credit applications and third-party credit checks.
- Keep payments on track. Follow up on outstanding accounts, communicate with customers, and coordinate payment arrangements.
- Handle the tough stuff professionally. Assist with collection issues, account escalations, and recommendations for further action when necessary.
- A detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Someone who is comfortable working with numbers, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions.
- Previous accounts receivable experience (2+ years preferred).
- Experience with accounting software such as SAGE 300 is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
