Position: Adult Day School Credit Teacher - Math & Biology

Course codes: SBI3C – Grade 11 College Biology

MBF3C – Grade 11 College Math

MAP4C – Grade 12 College Math

Start: September 1, 2026

Schedule: Monday to Friday - Monday to Friday Each period is 2.5 hours Depending on Applicant’s Qualifications, position could be up to three periods per day for 7.5 hours (8:30 – 4:30)

Location: Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre

Oshawa Campus: 540 Rossland Road West, Oshawa

Ajax Campus: 478 Fairall Street, Unit #7, Ajax

Biology may alternate between the two Con Ed Campuses. Math is for the Oshawa Campus only.

Applications are currently being accepted for the above position. The successful applicant should have teachable(s) in at least one of the subject area(s) identified in the above posting and hold certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Required:

• Certificate of Qualification / Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing)
• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications

Desired:

• Adult and Continuing Education Experience
• Experience teaching on Desire2Learn (D2L) platform as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person, on-line, and/or asynchronously

Rate of Pay:

• Will be paid according to the Continuing Education hourly rate, $57.84/hour, as per the current collective agreement for each designated day of the program.
