Royal York Property Management is one of Canada’s leading property management companies, managing thousands of residential rental properties across Ontario and beyond. We are looking for experienced, reliable Appliance Repair Technicians to join our growing network of service professionals.
This role involves travelling to residential rental properties to diagnose and repair common household appliances. Technicians work independently, manage appointments using our mobile work app, and complete repairs while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair common household appliances
- Service washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, range hoods, and similar appliances
- Diagnose appliance issues before replacing parts
- Complete repairs and part replacements within your verified scope
- Test appliances before leaving to ensure repairs have been completed successfully
- Document model and serial numbers, repair notes, photos, and completed work
- Report additional issues, required parts, or safety concerns
- Use our mobile work app to receive work orders, navigate using GPS, upload photos, and update job statuses
- Travel between appointments using your own vehicle
- Minimum 3 years of paid professional appliance repair experience
- Ability to diagnose and complete appliance repairs independently without technical supervision
- Experience repairing common residential appliances
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must have your own appliance repair tools and testing equipment
- Must have your own suitable smartphone capable of using GPS, work apps, taking photos, and submitting job updates
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Basic English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with GPS-confirmed appointments
- Appliance repair training or vocational education
- Manufacturer training or certifications
- Experience with multiple appliance brands
- Additional licences or certifications for specialized work
