Course Description:

This course will cover the the physical and chemical formation processes of the diverse planetary materials that make up the Solar System, from dust to planetary scales. We will explore the broad types of planetary materials that make up our Solar System - from primitive chondrites, to differentiated meteorites from asteroids and planets, such as Vesta and Mars. Space exploration is a key theme, and current and past missions are embedded into each topic, to help us to understand how and why we explore the Solar System.

Requirements:

Degree granted: A Ph. D in Earth Sciences. Candidate should have teaching experience at the university level.
