With elite training centers, Canada-wide camps and clinics, a cutting-edge mobile training app with thousands of users, a fast-growing apparel brand, and a bold online presence, we’re building a legacy with relentless hustle and big-picture ambition. We’re a startup that plays to win, powered by a team with zero ego, owning every outcome, and delivering an 11/10 experience in everything. If you’re ready to grind, serve humbly, and make a difference for the next generation, this is your arena.

Colossians 3:23

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

HoopLife is a organization that teaches and leads from a Christian perspective, integrating Biblical principles into our programs, culture, and mission. We operate from a Christian worldview and are seeking team members who align with our faith-based culture and embrace that foundation in how we serve youth and lead our company.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking passionate Basketball Trainers and Coaches for full-time or part-time roles to join our Regina team and pour their heart into shaping young athletes. You’ll lead basketball sessions, teams, camps, and programs, coaching athletes to grow confident and successful while mastering the game. This is for seasoned coaches who live and breathe basketball, dissect the X’s and O’s, and see coaching as a calling to impact lives. Whether you’re seeking part-time or full-time, if you’re a skilled player with experience, in active athlete shape, humble, and ready to own your role with fire and precision, this is your shot to inspire and grow with HoopLife.

What You’ll Do

  • Coach year-round 1-hour weekly sessions for boys and girls (ages 7-17), leading beginner and advanced groups with dynamic, team-focused drills.
  • Head or assist coach seasonal camps for boys and girls (ages 7-18), delivering high-energy court time per camp.
  • Lead a HoopLife League team, coaching weekly games, practices, playoffs, and all-star events (may lead multiple teams).
  • Greet athletes and parents with high-fives, building relationships that spark trust and growth.
  • Keep the gym tidy, set up and tear down equipment daily, ensuring an elite environment.
  • Maintain a positive vibe—encourage progress, embrace mistakes, and keep music pumping to fuel the atmosphere.
  • Adapt drills for all skill levels, promoting teamwork and keeping athletes moving, never static.
  • Guide athletes to the right group (beginner or elite), communicating clearly with parents.
  • Work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time (15-25 hours/week), including evenings and weekends, giving your all to athletes and the mission, no task too small.

Who You Are

  • Zero ego—ready to serve athletes and the team with humility and heart.
  • Passionate about impacting youth—you believe coaches shape athletes confidence and success more than teachers, and you’re driven to make that difference.
  • Obsessed with basketball—you’re a skilled player with significant experience, studying the game’s X’s and O’s, and it’s your total love.
  • In active athlete shape, able to demonstrate drills and influence athletes with energy and precision.
  • Experienced coaching or playing basketball at a high level, with a deep understanding of the sport.
  • A doer who owns every task, admits mistakes fast, and brings solutions, never passing problems.
  • Positive and encouraging, thriving in a fast-paced setting with an 11/10 standard.
  • Honest and direct, communicating with respect and uplifting athletes and families.
  • A team player who puts others first, works like a pro coach, and grows with the organization.
  • NCCP certification is a bonus, showing steps toward professional coaching, but not required.

Why HoopLife?

  • 24/7 Gym Access: Train anytime at our state-of-the-art HoopLife center.
  • Top-Notch Workspace: Coach in a clean, organized facility.
  • Real Impact: Shape athletes lives, building confidence and success through basketball.
  • Strong Benefits: Competitive pay, plus 3 weeks of vacation for staff.
  • High-Stakes Startup: Thrive where effort, ownership, and big thinking win.
  • Mission-Driven Team: Join a crew that’s all-in, helping youth rise in a world that’s failing them.
  • Room to Grow: Take on more responsibility over time, with chances to lead sessions, teams, and camps (full-time offers more leadership opportunities).
  • Live Basketball: Be immersed in the game you love, coaching and influencing daily.

Ready to Rise with HoopLife?

This is for coaches who hustle hard, stay humble, and see basketball as a way to change lives. Whether full-time or part-time, if you’re driven to win big, live for the game, and ready to own every challenge with heart and precision, HoopLife is your court. Apply now with your resume and a video cover letter showing us how you’ll inspire athletes—no half-measures.
