As a New Business Development Specialist , you’ll be on the front lines of growth, connecting with business leaders and introducing them to smarter, more effective benefits solutions. You’ll identify high‑potential prospects and book meetings for our licensed advisors, playing a critical role in helping organizations better support their people.
While this role is ideally suited for candidates located in the Barrie area, we welcome applications from qualified individuals across Ontario. Remote arrangements may be considered for candidates outside the Barrie area who are a strong fit for the team.

What You’ll Do:
- Identify and prospect high‑potential businesses across Canada
- Initiate outreach through phone and email to start meaningful conversations
- Qualify leads and book appointments for our licensed sales advisors
- Track outreach activity, follow‑ups, and outcomes in our CRM
- Collaborate with teammates to share strategies, improve performance, and achieve team goals

What You Bring:
- Experience in sales, cold calling, or business development
- Strong communication skills and a professional, confident presence
- A goal‑oriented mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort with technology and a desire to grow within a supportive, team‑based culture
You will succeed in this role if you are:

- KPI & Metric Deliverables: You demonstrate the consistent ability to meet or exceed monthly appointment quality and call volume targets through effective planning, execution, and performance management.
We offer a clear progression path with increasing base pay and bonus potential as you grow:
- Level 1: $47,000 base + uncapped monthly bonuses (average $1,200)
- Level 2: $52,000 base + uncapped monthly bonuses (average $1,800)
- Level 3 (Senior): $57,000 base + uncapped monthly bonuses (average $2,500)
- Uncapped bonus potential with achievable targets
- Hybrid work model (2 days in our Barrie office, 3 days from home)
- Every second Friday off
