Job Summary
The Chief – Production Engineering leads the Production Engineering organization responsible for manufacturing support, build sequence optimization, tooling coordination, and production issue resolution across DHC operations.

Job Summary
The Chief – Production Engineering leads the Production Engineering organization responsible for manufacturing support, build sequence optimization, tooling coordination, and production issue resolution across DHC operations.
Accountabilities
- Lead and develop Production Engineering personnel supporting aircraft assembly and modification activities.
- Coordinate engineering support for manufacturing readiness and production change incorporation.
- Drive rapid resolution of production non-conformances and build interruptions.
- Support tooling, methods, and production process optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate engineering support during aircraft delivery, ground runs, and flight test activities.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on production efficiency and first-time quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, Materials, or related Engineering discipline
- Progressive aerospace engineering experience supporting aircraft development, certification, production, modification, or sustaining activities.
- Strong understanding of Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA regulatory requirements applicable to the role.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Licensed or eligible for licensing as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
- Demonstrates strong aerospace engineering judgement and technical credibility.
- Builds alignment and trust across Engineering, Production, Certification, and Program organizations.
- Drives accountability, execution discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Promotes practical, certifiable, manufacturable, and customer-focused engineering solutions.
- Contributes to a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance engineering culture.
