The RDKB is currently seeking applications for a casual Clerk Secretary Receptionists to join the Trail Administration Office team. This opportunity has been created to provide support during team vacation and sick leave absences. The casual Clerk Secretary Receptionist may provide coverage in a variety of departments, but all work will be performed on site at the Trail Administration Office.
Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Administration, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative, customer service and other support duties while working in a collaborative environment.
The Clerk Secretary Receptionist plays a key role in supporting the staff and committees of the RDKB by providing desk and phone receptionist services, answering email and phone queries, sharing information about RDKB services and directing calls to other departments. The position will also assist with resource bookings, preparing agendas and minutes, and other administrative support duties as required. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful team player who enjoys working with others to provide effective, supportive services.

Hours of work: 0-37.5 hour per week, to provide staff coverage and support additional work demands
Union: CUPE Local 2254
Compensation: $34.37/hour (2025) plus 10% in lieu of benefits

To be considered for this opportunity candidates must possess the following:
- High School Graduation or equivalent
- Administration training
- 3 years of experience in a similar setting
- An equivalent combination of qualification and experience will be considered
- Professional Microsoft Office skills required
- Professional communication skills and proven ability to work with the public
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
