Job Description
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Clinical Business Intelligence Analyst to support a large-scale clinical information systems and digital health transformation initiative.
The Clinical Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as a liaison between program teams and clinical, technical, operational, and business stakeholders across the healthcare system. The role involves collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating sessions to understand business and user requirements, and translating those needs into clear, actionable requirements, reporting specifications, and data definitions. The successful candidate will help bridge the gap between business objectives and technology solutions while supporting process improvement, analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

- Stakeholder Review and Sign-Off Materials
- University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, and experience in Business Intelligence, requirements gathering, and dashboard/reporting development; or an equivalent combination of education and Business Intelligence experience.
- 10+ years of progressive Canadian experience in hospital and/or digital health environments supporting large-scale clinical information systems, digital health transformation, or healthcare modernization initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience translating complex clinical, operational, and business needs into implementation-ready BI requirements, including reporting specifications, analytics frameworks, KPI definitions, dashboard requirements, data dictionaries, business rules, and terminology.
- Available to start on the specified project commencement date.
- Resume must be a maximum of 5 pages and focus on the deliverables and scored requirements.
- Maximum of two submissions per vendor.
- 8+ years of exceptional verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills, including communicating complex topics, driving standardization, obtaining stakeholder buy-in, and influencing organizational change.
- 8+ years of experience documenting decisions, maintaining logs and registers, monitoring progress, tracking dependencies, and managing risks and issues.
- 6+ years of experience achieving consensus across multiple organizations, programs, or stakeholder groups on workflows, terminology, performance measures, reporting requirements, or business processes within complex Canadian healthcare environments.
- 8+ years of experience analyzing and documenting current-state clinical and operational workflows and facilitating future-state process design enabled by large-scale clinical information systems or digital health technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both English and French (preferred).
