COMMERCIAL INSURANCE MANAGER - RICHMOND HILL

Lead a team of commercial insurance experts to increase sales and service excellence.

In this role you will lead a team of dedicated commercial insurance professionals and nurture and grow the relationships of high value clients. You have the opportunity to be part of a highly motivated team who all contribute to the achievement of business goals and sales targets.

Accountabilities

  • Deliver results on the business strategy, through employee development, performance management, coaching, succession planning and team effectiveness to drive accountability and favourable outcomes
  • Develop, maintain, and expand client relationships across diverse industries, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction
  • Maintain a strong understanding of construction industry practices, terminology, and labor market trends to effectively support clients
  • Lead your team through the change management process to shape organizational understanding of proposed changes as required
  • Develop a team business plan, budget and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Collaborate with Commercial Underwriting for product review and development
  • Represent the organization and liaising with domestic and international insurance companies as required
  • Review required reports and complete audits on processes, documentation and correspondence
  • Continue self-development through industry and community involvement, training and other courses

  • Leadership experience in a sales driven environment, preferably commercial insurance
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining relationships with high priority clients
  • Proven long-term success in a commission-based sales role
  • Involvement in industry related associations and your community
  • Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal
