About The Role

The Data Product Analyst at FCC plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to support organizational change within FCC’s modern AWS data environment. This position involves requirements management, user story development, and business analysis to deliver high-quality data solutions. The analyst collaborates closely with domain partners and Agile teams to refine requirements, manage backlogs, and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and readiness of solutions for deployment. Through iterative delivery, the role aims to enhance business processes, guide strategic decision-making, and deliver measurable value across complex technical and business domains. The ideal candidate will possess a data-driven mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and continuous improvement in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of data warehouses and cloud environments, specifically AWS.
  • Proven ability to gather, document, and analyze requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and write high-quality user stories.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to data quality, accuracy, and adherence to compliance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance data capabilities supporting Customer Management Solutions and related business domains.
  • Analyze, triage, and refine backlog items into clear, actionable user stories and detailed requirements.
  • Support backlog prioritization and automate processes to ensure timely delivery of high-quality product increments.
  • Validate and test data and solutions, including reconciling queries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with team members and stakeholders to identify underlying needs and uncover opportunities beyond initial requests.
  • Facilitate problem-solving discussions and foster alignment among team members to promote continuous improvement.
  • Plan, prioritize, and deliver work within established timelines, balancing scope, dependencies, and trade-offs while remaining adaptable to change.
  • Ensure quality standards are met prior to releasing product increments.
