You will be responsible for analysing large datasets, developing reports, and identifying trends that will help shape key business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Collaborate with management to prioritise business and information needs.
- Create clear and compelling data visualisations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting and analysis activities.
- Work closely with finance and product teams to understand and define new data-driven opportunities.
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), and programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
- A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) concepts would be a strong advantage.
