What You Bring

• A CPA designation.
• Substantial manufacturing finance experience, including hands-on responsibility for costing, inventory accounting, and profitability analysis.
• Experience working directly with an owner or entrepreneur.
• A track record of leading and developing an accounting team.
• Strong forecasting, cash management, and financial modelling skills.
• The ability to explain financial issues clearly to people outside finance.
• Evidence of identifying opportunities and implementing improvements without waiting to be asked.
• Sound judgment about when to solve a problem internally and when to bring in specialist expertise.
  
  

Experience in packaging or a related manufacturing industry, Canadian/U.S. operations, and ERP implementation would be valuable assets. We welcome candidates who are already successful finance directors and experienced manufacturing controllers ready for a broader leadership role.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have strengthened the team's responsibilities and processes, established useful costing and margin reporting, built a dependable forecast and cash plan, and become a trusted partner to the owner and operational leaders.
