Early Childhood Educator

Salary: $60,000 - $63,000

Position Overview
The Early Childhood Educator is a year-round member of our Early Years team, supporting our JK3 and JK4 classrooms and stepping into lead or assistant responsibilities when educators are away. Beyond the academic day, this role also supports our After School Care program during the school year and our Camp Program during school breaks, providing continuity of care and learning across our early childhood programs. The Early Childhood Educator will help create engaging, responsive environments that foster curiosity, independence, confidence, and the foundational skills young children need to thrive.

Our Junior Kindergarten Programme introduces and implements learning within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, offering an enriched, inquiry-based approach to early learning that is unique in Victoria. What You’ll Bring
Candidates must possess ECE certification and knowledge of current educational trends in a Junior Kindergarten setting. Montessori and/or Reggio Emilia experience will be considered an asset. Experience and interest in weekly Nature School and knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be an asset. You will have a strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning approaches, possess a passion for innovation and creativity, and be highly reflective and committed to continuous professional growth and improvement.
