Job Title: Technician - Radio Remote Control Assembly

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented technician to assemble and test radio remote control units used in various industrial applications such as concrete pumper truck booms, skid steers, and tow trucks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, can read and interpret schematic diagrams, troubleshoot issues, perform precise soldering and assembly, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with guidance.
• Read PCB designs and test PCBs.
• Perform basic soldering of electronic components, primarily through-hole with some surface mount.
• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical parts accurately and consistently.
• Perform wiring and cable assembly tasks such as routing and fastening.
• Identify and report assembly issues or errors during the build process.
• Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and basic functionality.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Basic understanding of electronics or electrical systems.
• Experience working with Altium.
• Experience with spectrum analyzers.
• Ability to read schematic diagrams or willingness to learn.
• Soldering skills or hands-on experience with soldering tools.
• Good attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Comfortable using hand tools and small assembly equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision once instructions are understood.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Syteline/SAP ERP system.
• Proficiency in using electronics troubleshooting tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCB testing equipment.
  
  

Work Environment

The work environment involves working with various tools such as wire strippers, wire and lug crimpers, connector insertion and extraction tools, and soldering systems. The role requires close attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately and consistently

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Delta, BC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Delta,BC.
