Position Summary: Provide support to the School Secretary in daily office operations, student attendance management, and other related duties as assigned by school administration.

Education/Experience:

  • Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with board-specific software (e.g. Aspen, SparkRock) is considered an asset.

Skill and Ability:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines.

Compensation:

Salary in accordance with the current COPE collective agreement $24.89 - $27.89 per hour (+ vacation pay in lieu of vacation)
