What this role is all about:
The Everyday Banking Specialist is a trusted financial advisor with expertise in everyday banking and cash services, delivering exceptional member experience through a blend of transactional support, proactive financial guidance, and digital enablement. As a sales‑driven role, the Specialist is accountable for achieving sales growth through goal‑based advisory, tailored solutions, and proactive relationship building.
This is a hybrid position on a rotating scheduled between Monday to Saturday, with Tuesday and Wednesday in one of our Member Connect contact centres.

What you’ll do:
Everyday Banking
- Identify opportunities during transactions to initiate advisory conversations and uncover broader financial needs.
- Deliver everyday banking needs and advisory, including initiating the discovery of more complex needs and referrals for more complex solutions.
- Lead with discovery techniques to uncover short- and mid-term financial goals, including savings, credit, insurance, and investment needs.
- Recommend tailored everyday banking solutions and initiate conversations on lending and credit products.
- Manage member traffic and ensure seamless member experience during peak periods as required.
- Support members with the opening of accounts both personal and business, recommendations on savings plans, and completion of short-term credit solutions such as Overdrafts, Credit Cards and Instant Credit and JUDI AI business credit.
- Educate members on financial options, digital tools, and benefits to support informed decisions.
- Enhance services through referrals to advisors and specialists for complex lending, insurance, and financial planning needs, ensuring a warm handoff.
- Champion digital adoption by onboarding members to mobile, online, and ATM tools.
- Troubleshoot advanced digital issues and provide personalized coaching to build confidence in self-service tools.
- Support branch digital migration initiatives and coach peers on digital enablement strategies.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial services or advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of everyday banking products and foundational lending principles.
- Proven ability to build and strengthen member relationships through trust and proactive engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a member-first mindset.
- Advanced digital literacy and ability to coach others on digital tools.

- Compensation: Annual salary range of $54,600 - $59,000, with pay based on your skills and experience, and performance bonuses tied to shared goals
