Position Overview:

 

The Field Service Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the labour and resources required to complete field service projects. Additionally, the Field Service Project Manager will manage project related documents and project allocated hours to keep requirements on track and is responsible for invoicing of projects. Lastly, client management and sales is an essential part of the Project Manager’s responsibility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Complete job invoice and job report as per internal procedure
  • Implement external change order before any extra work is performed (out of scope of original contract/PO)
  • The Field Service Project Manager is responsible for client maintenance, business development and seeing projects through from quotation, contract review to invoicing
  • Managing of project job costing, scope, schedule, and overall quality
  • Develop project instructions and ensure that properly trained Field Service personnel are utilized to allow for work to be completed to both REV standards and to the client’s satisfaction. Ensure conformance to all scopes of work.
  • Maintaining current project schedules and requirements while ensuring other client requests are satisfied
  • Approval of project designs and requisitioning of job materials for project requirements
  • Responsible for review and approval of test sheets and preparation of technical client reports and quotations
  • Providing input to employee reviews on a professional and technical level
  • Selling the services of REV and completing on site business development to clients; providing client maintenance both on a technical and social level
  • Representing REV in a positive and professional manner to all clients and REV personnel

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Supervisor in the industrial electrical sector
  • Professional qualities with regards to attitude and the ability to self-manage with proven initiative and client focus
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational and time management capabilities
  • Company focused attitude and performance
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • A collaborative team player with a notable willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Excellent safety record / safety conscious with an interest in continued learning of safety precautions and procedures

 

 

Start Date: ASAP

 

Location: Calgary, AB

 

Duration: Permanent, Full-time
