Affinity is looking for a Financial Analyst, Asset and Liability Management to join our progressive and growing Accounting and Finance team. This position provides analytical and operational support for Affinity's Asset and Liability Management (ALM) program and Treasury activities. Working closely with the Senior Finance Analyst, Asset and Liability Management, you will contribute to interest rate risk measurement, balance sheet analysis, liquidity monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and model management that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with data, financial models, and financial markets while developing expertise in Treasury, liquidity management, and interest rate risk.

What You’ll Do
- Support Asset and Liability Management (ALM), interest rate risk, and liquidity risk activities through model maintenance, forecasting, scenario analysis, and governance processes
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting and analysis on balance sheet performance, funding activities, liquidity, Treasury operations, and product performance for management and governance committees
- Maintain ALM models and governance processes by validating data inputs, managing assumptions and methodologies, investigating data quality issues, and ensuring accurate reporting and modeling outputs.
- Support forecasting and scenario analysis activities related to interest rates, deposit growth, loan growth, and liquidity management
- Research market and economic trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and analytical processes

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge in performing financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and projections
- Working knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and projections, supported by an understanding of accounting principles and the financial services industry
- Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and recommend innovative processes
- Experience in financial services, Treasury, or ALM, with knowledge of balance sheet management, risk analysis, financial modeling, and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python; progress toward a CFA, CPA, FRM, or CBV is an asset
