The French Language Liaison will play a key role in supporting the implementation of Carefor's French Language Initiative. Working closely with internal stakeholders, this individual will coordinate translation activities, support training and education efforts, develop French-language resources, and help ensure French-speaking clients, staff, and community members have access to clear, high-quality information and services.

  • Coordinate and manage translation requests and deliverables for internal and client-facing materials.
  • Assist in the development and review of French-language communications, training resources, presentations, and educational materials.
  • Support training administration, including registrations, participant communications, course attendance tracking, and follow-up activities.
  • Develop and maintain project tracking tools, reports, and updates using Microsoft Excel.
  • Create presentations and communication materials using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Organize project documents, meeting materials, and collaboration activities within Microsoft Teams.
  • Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the French Language Initiative.
  • Help ensure French-language resources reflect Carefor's commitment to quality, accessibility, and client-centered care.
  • Provide administrative and project support as required.


Required

  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as translation, communications, office administration, business administration, human services, health administration, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years’ experience
  • Strong proficiency in
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Adobe creative suites (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.


Preferred

  • Experience coordinating translation services or bilingual communications.
  • Experience supporting training, education, or organizational initiatives.
  • Experience in healthcare, community support services, home care, or a client-service-focused environment.
  • Project coordination or administrative support experience.
