Diabetes Depot is operated by LMC Pharmacy – Brampton, where we specialize in diabetes training and education. We are a full-service pharmacy and offer complete prescription services to all patients.

Position Summary

The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Diabetes Depot's fulfillment centre, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the fulfillment team while overseeing inventory, workflow, customer service, and operational improvements. The ideal candidate enjoys being actively involved in daily operations while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, solve operational challenges, and help scale the business as it grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee daily fulfillment workflow and prioritize orders to meet service level targets
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve fulfillment processes and SOPs
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and workflow
  • Monitor key operational metrics including order turnaround times, fulfillment accuracy, inventory accuracy, and shipping performance
  • Forecast inventory requirements and work with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Lead onboarding, training, and management of fulfillment staff
  • Coordinate with pharmacy team, clinic staff, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance activities
  • Support new product launches and operational projects

Fulfillment Operations

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Process shipments through courier and postal systems
  • Ensure timely dispatch and communicate any shipping delays or issues
  • Receive, label, and stock incoming inventory
  • Help maintain an organized and clean stockroom

Customer Service

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information and order support by phone and email
  • Support problem resolution for orders, returns, or exchanges

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, pharmacy operations, or a related field
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare, pharmacy, medical device, or other regulated environment is considered a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and fulfillment best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement operational efficiencies

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform hands-on fulfillment activities on a daily basis

Compensation range: The expected compensation for the position is $44K-$50K/annually. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's credentials, experience and geographic location in which the position is located.
