Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of permanent part-time Gas Bar Clerk (24-39 hours/week) at our 2nd Avenue C-Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the 2nd Avenue C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a working knowledge of point of sale, fuel pump, and propane systems.
• Receive, price, and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
• Ensure safety is held as the highest priority.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times.
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience using point of sale systems and working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
• Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
• Able to work independently while planning and organizing your own tasks.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Able to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications.
• Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
