Rotating shifts Between Days and Afternoons-Training on days

We are looking for self- motivated individuals who are able to learn quickly while not being afraid to ask for clarification when unsure of the task at hand.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate various sheet metal equipment.
• Perform the following:
• deburring
• polishing
• hydroforming
• manual forming
• Work from blueprints, templates, etc. using pneumatic and manual hand tools.
• Align metal parts or structural components in relation to each other with the use of dowel pins, wedges, jacks, turnbuckles, and other construction aids.
• Layout most sheet metal patterns proficiently.
• May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside craft as required.
• Training will be provided.
  

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work with small, high-quality parts.
• Excellent math and mechanical skills
• Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and challenges.
• Positive attitude
  
  

Preferred Skills

Good communication skills, strong problem-solving skills – particularly relevant in managing customer concerns, flexible to work rotating shifts to accommodate production schedule, must disclose any physical restrictions regarding bending, twisting, heavy lifting (<50lbs), and long hour standing for 7–8 hours.
