Our client, an established and active residential developer/builder in the Greater Toronto Area, is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their high-rise construction team.
This opportunity is best suited to a proven high-rise professional who has successfully managed multiple condominium or multi-residential projects through the full construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of high-rise construction in Ontario and be comfortable taking ownership of a project from preconstruction and mobilization through construction, occupancy, closeout, and turnover.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of high-rise construction in Ontario and be comfortable taking ownership of a project from preconstruction and mobilization through construction, occupancy, closeout, and turnover.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of high-rise residential construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and turnover.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and construction milestones.
- Coordinate closely with site teams, consultants, architects, engineers, trades, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage tendering, subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, contract awards, change orders, and cost control.
- Oversee RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, design coordination, and construction documentation.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and budget and proactively identify potential delays, cost exposures, and construction risks.
- Lead regular project, consultant, and trade coordination meetings.
- Work closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure construction activities are properly coordinated and executed.
- Manage consultant and municipal coordination throughout permitting, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Oversee deficiencies, commissioning, occupancy, turnover, and project closeout.
- Maintain strong relationships with trades, consultants, ownership, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Coordinators and junior members of the project team.
- Significant experience managing high-rise residential construction projects in Ontario, ideally within the GTA.
- A track record of successfully completing multiple full-cycle high-rise projects, from excavation and foundations through structure, building envelope, interiors, occupancy, and final turnover.
- Strong knowledge of concrete high-rise construction, building systems, sequencing, and trade coordination.
- Experience managing projects for a developer, construction manager, or general contractor specializing in multi-residential construction.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, change management, and cost control.
- Experience working with consultants, municipalities, inspectors, trades, and ownership groups.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with commonly used construction management and scheduling software.
