Job Summary
HSE Service Provider are responsible for keeping people safe at their work sites. They develop policies and procedures to make sure people aren't harmed by their jobs, investigate and report accidents, and provide guidance to Contractor on how to comply with the law. They may also take responsibility for health-related projects, such as organizing talks and training for staff.

They develop policies and procedures to make sure people aren't harmed by their jobs, investigate and report accidents, and provide guidance to Contractor on how to comply with the law. They may also take responsibility for health-related projects, such as organizing talks and training for staff.
Responsibility
- investigating health-related complaints and cases
- carrying out risk assessments and site inspections
- ensuring that equipment is installed correctly and safely
- identifying potential hazards
- determining ways of reducing risks
- compiling statistics and writing reports
- running health and safety meetings and training courses for Camp service members keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
- Over 2 years industrial field experience
- Completed CSTS 09/OSSA Regional or BSO training
- Complete H2S alive, TDG training
- Valid Whmis training & certification
- Valid Standard First Aid CPR/AED Certification
- Knowledge of Provincial HSE regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
- Planning, organizing and multi-tasking abilities with good written and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible & willing to assist with additional safety related items that may not be part of the initial job description.
- Able to work well with staff, contractors or client personnel
- Must have a proactive and positive approach to the role.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Trade background or additional industrial experience to the above is preferred.
- Safety equipment training / inspection certification preferred.
