EXP is seeking a experienced Hydrogeologist to join our Geo-Environmental Group in Cambridge, Ontario. What a day at EXP has in store for you

As a Member Of The Hydrogeology Team, You Will Provide Technical And Project Support, Across a Broad Range Of Assignments, Including

  • Partnering with clients to understand needs and deliver practical, value driven solutions
  • Leading and shaping scopes of work for public and private clients on small to large scale infrastructure projects
  • Managing and Executing hydrogeological studies, including:
  • Groundwater resource development
  • Groundwater Characterization Studies, including chemistry analysis and interpretations
  • Studies to support septic applications, including LSSDS
  • Construction dewatering programs
  • Pump test design, analysis, and interpretation
  • Municipal Sewer discharge studies, reports and permits
  • MECP Permits (dewatering, ECAs)
  • Project management and coordination of site investigation and compliance programs Coordinating and supervising field programs
  • Reviewing and guiding the technical work of junior and intermediate staff
  • Preparing and reviewing high quality technical reports
  • Supporting proposal development and contributing to business growth

What Your Experience Looks Like

  • University degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an asset)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in physical hydrogeology
  • Strong field based experience in groundwater supply, hydrogeological investigations, and assessments
  • Professional designation in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) is an asset
  • Experience with GIS/CAD programs and groundwater modelling is an asset
  • Proven success developing client relationships and contributing to winning proposals
  • Hands on experience working with MECP, municipalities, and Conservation Authorities
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from planning through delivery
  • Strong business acumen and a practical, solution focused mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing junior staff
  • Comfortable operating in a high demand, fast paced environment

The salary range for this role is between $65K - $85K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
