Onsite work location

Located at 7223 68 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, this full-time position has a Monday-to-Friday schedule, 40 hours per week.

Why this role matters

As an Industrial Quotations Specialist, you play a key role in helping customers get the products and solutions they need. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, Account Managers, and the Area Manager to prepare accurate quotations, support project opportunities, and help win business. Your attention to detail, customer focus, and ability to build strong relationships will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the continued growth of the business.

What To Expect In The Role

Quotation Preparation

• Prepare accurate and complete quotations based on customer requests and project requirements.
• Obtain pricing and bills of materials from suppliers and apply approved pricing strategies.
• Review quotation details for accuracy prior to submission to customers.
• Enter and maintain quotation records in Salesforce CRM.
  
  

Quote Follow-Up & Order Processing

• Follow up on outstanding quotations and update quote status within the CRM system.
• Process customer purchase orders and track material release schedules.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure timelines and delivery commitments are met.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates as required.
  
  

Customer Support

• Work with customers to identify suitable product solutions, pricing options, and product mix requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate approval drawings and any customer-requested revisions.
• Communicate delivery schedules and project information with customers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  
  

Supplier Coordination

• Request and obtain supplier pricing for project materials.
• Review supplier quotations to ensure pricing and quantities are accurate.
• Resolve pricing, product, and supply issues as they arise.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, including attending supplier meetings and training sessions when required.
  
  

Internal Collaboration

• Work closely with Area Managers and Account Managers to develop pricing strategies and support sales opportunities.
• Partner with internal specialty groups to identify and forward business opportunities.
• Keep Account Managers informed on quotation activity, project updates, and material status.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure a high level of customer service and project execution.
  
  

Ideal candidate profile

• 5+ Years of experience in the electrical industry
• 1+ Years of experience in Inside Sales
• Experience with managing and handling industrial contractors
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in ERP, CRM, MS365, and the ability to learn new software
• Ability to hold self accountable to customer and employer expectations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma
• Training or education in industrial sales is a strong asset
