Inside Sales Representative - Edmonton

Kinetic Search Group

Date: 1 hour ago
City: Edmonton, AB
Contract type: Full time

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in the distribution of electrical and industrial infrastructure solutions across Canada. With a strong legacy of growth, technical expertise, and customer partnership, this organization plays a critical role in supporting Canada’s electrification, utility modernization, and infrastructure development initiatives.

As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to join their Edmonton branch and support a well-established, growing customer base in the electrification and utility segment.

This is more than a traditional inside sales role. You will become a key contributor to a high-performing branch team that supports critical infrastructure projects across the region. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you will develop product knowledge across a broad range of electrical and industrial solutions while learning the technical and commercial fundamentals of the business.

You will:

  • Support and grow relationships within an established portfolio of utility and industrial accounts
  • Prepare detailed quotations and provide timely follow-up
  • Expedite critical, time-sensitive orders tied to infrastructure projects
  • Partner closely with outside sales and branch leadership to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Gain exposure to diverse product lines supporting electrification, grid reliability, and industrial applications
  • Build the foundation for long-term career growth within a national organization

We are looking for individuals who bring energy, initiative, and a genuine interest in industrial sales. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving customer challenges, and works collaboratively within a team-oriented branch setting.

You bring:

  • 2–3 years of inside sales and customer relationship management experience (industrial distribution experience strongly preferred)
  • A proactive approach to supporting both established and new accounts
  • A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Experience working collaboratively within a sales team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset
  • A desire to learn technical products and grow within the electrification space

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a respected, industry-leading national distributor
  • Work in a sector directly supporting electrification and infrastructure growth
  • Receive comprehensive on-the-job technical and sales training
  • Be part of a stable organization with strong leadership and long-term career progression
  • Competitive compensation and full benefits
  • If you are motivated to build a career in industrial sales and want to be part of a company shaping Canada’s electrified future, we encourage you to apply in confidence.
