The Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy is inviting applications for a six-month term position to be held on campus beginning in the Winter term of 2027. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in the Canadian K-12 school system, with preference given to those who have taught in K-8 and are able to teach courses in one or more of Social Studies, English Language Arts, and/or Science Methods (see the course list below). Graduate education in the specialization area of Curriculum and Pedagogy is considered an asset. The successful candidate should have knowledge of the relevant Manitoba curriculum in their area(s) of specialization, and familiarity with the Manitoba Framework for Learning and Supporting documents. Candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to service, an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and a dedication to EDIDR practices. The Department seeks candidates who can connect their current research to K-12 schooling and have knowledge of the current trends in research in pedagogy.

Qualifications: A relevant Master’s Degree is required; a PhD is preferred. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master’s Degree degree and are invited to contact the Office of the Dean of Education on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.

Rank & Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
