JOB TITLE: Integration Technician
Position Overview
The Integration Specialist supports the Engineering Integration of custom systems acting also as a liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering.
The Integration Specialist supports Quality and Shipping aiming for high quality standards and an on-time delivery
Responsibilities
As an Integration Technician, you will have to:
- Understand and follow the documentation and specifications associated to the integration of standard and custom systems;
- Mechanically integrate the different components of a system;
- Setup and test systems to ensure they behave as a whole and meet the technical specifications.
- Support the f inal configuration of the system providing advise on additional hardware or software to be added or changed to it;
- Test integrated systems to quality standards, supporting QC in the process and interacting with Engineering in when integrating custom systems;
- Interact with Engineering and other Manufacturing processes to ensure that the requirements are met;
- Keep accurate records of the integration and testing of systems, including Test Certificates, Engineering Test Plans, As Built documents, Timesheets, etc.;
- Identify opportunities to improve products and work with Engineering and Management to develop or update associated documentation;
- Apply technical knowledge and best industry practices to the job;
- Develop, build and maintain equipment, tools, f ixtures and jigs necessary to the job;
- Train new and current Manufacturing personnel on standard and custom assemblies, best production practices, documentation management, etc.;
- Support workplace safety and health, ensure work area is safe, tidy and functional;
- Support the Deliverables and Integration Manager as required;
- Collaborate with other areas as required, especially QC, Production, Service, Demos, Shipping, Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience on electronic/electric or mechanical assembling;
- Experience on mechanical, electrical and software system integration;
- Electronic / Electric or Mechanical technical education;
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical assemblies, schematics, electrical diagrams, etc.;
- Experience and ability to manage related manual tools, soldering, crimping, torquing, etc.;
- Knowledge of electrical safety and ESD procedures;
- Preferred experience as a Technician/Specialist with Eddyfi Technologies.
- Self-organized person with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Action and operation-oriented person;
- Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under tight schedules and under pressure;
- Strong ability to work as a team, good communication skills;
- Professionalism and strong ability to multi-task and manage priorities;
- Interpersonal skills for communication / training.
