Intermediate/Senior IT Solutions Specialist

We’re hiring an IT Solutions Specialist to help shape Alberta Conservation Association’s digital future.

This permanent, full-time position combines hands-on technical expertise with project oversight. You’ll develop secure and scalable solutions, improve business processes, strengthen collaboration, and help guide ACA’s technology strategy.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Developing and managing SharePoint sites, workflows, applications, permissions, and governance

• Automating business processes using Microsoft Power Automate and other technology tools

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining business applications and system integrations

• Creating Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations

• Supporting cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, and IT planning

• Coordinating with IT vendors, service providers, and internal teams

We’re looking for a motivated problem-solver with at least five years of progressive experience in a diverse technology environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI, and application or web development.

Experience with SQL, databases, APIs, project management, or relevant Microsoft certifications would be an asset.

The position may be based at an ACA office in Blairmore, Cochrane, Lethbridge, Peace River, Rocky Mountain House, or Sherwood Park, Alberta, and reports to the Vice President, Finance and Digital Strategy.
