What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the design and implementation of data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, and storage)
• Assist in preparing and structuring data for analytics, reporting, and data science use cases
• Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve data quality, reliability, and monitoring
• Help develop and maintain components of cloud-based data platforms
• Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing data workflows
• Contribute to documentation and adoption of best practices in data engineering
• Learn and apply modern tools and technologies in cloud and big data ecosystems

How to thrive in this role?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL
• Understanding of data concepts (data structures, ETL/ELT, basic data modeling)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentExposure to data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Snowflake)

• Experience with version control (Git) and basic software development practices
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Interest in data architecture or machine learning ecosystems

• Duration: 8 months
• Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
