Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Intern, Field Service Representative (4 to 12-month) - Moncton, NB.

The hourly rate for this position is $21 - $26 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Electrical sector has an opening for a 4 to 12-month, Intern Field Service Representative position to be based in Moncton, NB.

This position is scheduled to start in June 2026.

Primary Function

This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work
  • Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed
  • Follow required safety practices
  • Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required
  • Perform all work at a high level of quality
  • Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers. Travel may be required
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards
  • Perform other duties, as required


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
  • This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 km of the work location to be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship now or in the future.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls and/or power distribution products
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytic skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good attitude and work ethic
