Position Summary
The Junior Business Applications Coordinator supports Spraggs Group’s business applications ecosystem, helping ensure the internal systems, tools, and workflows that enable day-to-day operations are running smoothly and effectively. Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Business Applications & Innovation, this position provides hands-on support across Zoho CRM, internal business applications, and low-code/no-code platforms, with a focus on user support, system maintenance, and data integrity.
This position is ideal for someone who is expanding their experience in business systems, technology support, or application coordination and is energized by learning new tools and solving operational challenges.
Core Accountabilities
Zoho CRM and Platform Support
- Support the administration and day-to-day maintenance of the Zoho CRM and related Zoho applications used across the organization.
- Assist with configuration tasks such as updating fields, workflows, automation rules, user permissions, and basic system settings under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Business Applications & Innovation
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency by supporting data entry standards, performing regular data cleanup, and flagging data quality issues.
- Provide first-line user support for the Zoho platform, including troubleshooting issues, responding to requests, and escalating more complex problems when required.
- Assist with onboarding new users, including account setup, basic training, and ongoing support to promote effective system usage.
- Stay curious about Zoho features and updates, bringing forward ideas that may improve usability or efficiency.
Internal Business Applications and Tooling Support
- Support the maintenance and ongoing updates of internal business tools and applications used to enable operational workflows across Spraggs Law, Spraggs Business Advisory, and Vistera Technologies Corp.
- Assist with updates, testing, and basic enhancements to internal tools that support areas such as client intake, workflow management, and administrative processes.
- Help identify system issues, gaps, or inefficiencies and raise them to the Sr. Manager, Business Applications & Innovation for review and prioritization.
- Support basic integration monitoring between internal tools and Zoho to help ensure data is flowing correctly between systems.
- Assist in documenting system processes, configurations, and user guides to support consistency and reduce reliance on individual knowledge holders.
Vistera Product Team Support
- Support the Vistera product development team by contributing to defined front-end tasks under the direction of the Staff Engineer and Sr. Manager Business Applications & Innovation.
- Assist with building and updating UI components and user-facing features in alignment with established design and development standards.
- Participate in product discussions, sprint ceremonies, and code reviews as a contributing team member, learning best practices in development and UX design.
- Apply a user-focused mindset when reviewing interfaces, helping identify potential usability improvements for SMB clients.
- Use modern development and AI-assisted tools as directed to support efficient delivery of assigned tasks while learning engineering workflows and standards.
- Gradually take on more complex development tasks as skills and confidence grow within the team environment.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas for improving internal systems, workflows, and tools, with a focus on efficiency, usability, and consistency.
- Stay interested in developments in CRM systems, low-code/no-code platforms, and front-end tools, sharing relevant insights with the team.
- Support documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts by helping maintain internal resources and system documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with testing, feedback, and implementation of system enhancements.
What You Bring
- Exposure to CRM systems or business applications, with a strong interest in learning how platforms like Zoho are used to support day-to-day operations.
- Interest in front-end development and how digital interfaces are built, with some familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript considered an asset.
- Experience (or strong interest) in supporting business systems, internal tools, or low-code/no-code platforms that help improve how work gets done.
- Developing awareness of UX and UI principles, with curiosity about how users interact with systems and a willingness to contribute ideas to improve usability.
- Comfort learning new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted tools, and using them to support learning, problem-solving, and productivity.
- Ability to contribute to clear and organized documentation, such as notes, process steps, or user support materials that help others understand and use systems effectively.
