Position Overview
Genesis Downtown Vancouver is seeking a Junior Parts Advisor & Vehicle Concierge to join our team. This hybrid role supports both the Parts and Service Departments, reporting directly to the Parts Manager while working closely with the Service team.
This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by combining parts support with vehicle presentation and lot coordination. The successful candidate will assist with parts inquiries, inventory management, and sales transactions while also ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for delivery.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of dealership operations while building a career in the automotive industry.
The expected pay for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour plus bonuses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Parts Support Responsibilities:
- Assist retail and wholesale customers with parts inquiries, orders, and purchases
- Identify and source automotive parts using catalogs, systems, and customer/technician descriptions
- Process parts transactions, including invoices and sales documentation
- Receive and fulfill telephone and in-person parts orders
- Order non-stock parts and track backorders to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and support proper organization and storage of parts
- Inspect returned parts and process exchanges or refunds as required
- Collaborate with technicians and internal departments to support efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department environment
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery or display
- Maintain organization and presentation of the vehicle lot and service drive
- Move and park vehicles safely around the dealership as required
- Start vehicles regularly and monitor battery condition, charging as needed
- Assist with vehicle preparation for service and customer delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of service and delivery areas, including removal of debris
- Ensure walkways, lot areas, and entrances are safe and free of obstructions
- Clear snow and ice from vehicles and lot areas during winter months
- Organize and store equipment and supplies at the end of each shift
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in automotive, customer service, or a dealership environment is an asset
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to identify parts using electronic catalogs and systems
- Basic computer proficiency (inventory, point-of-sale, and dealership systems)
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
- Valid British Columbia Driver’s License
- Ability to provide a current driver’s abstract upon request
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
