We are looking for an experienced Labourer to join our pipe/container yard and become a part of our Arrow team in Edmonton.

• Perform manual labour tasks and support operations
• Work as a rigger destuffing containers
• Spot for operators while loading trailers
• Assist with general yard clean up and maintenance
• Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations, participate in identifying hazards
• Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics
• Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew
• Ability to understand cross training on all functions at facility
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Previous experience working in a safety sensitive environment is required
• Previous experience working around heavy equipment is required
• Container destuffing experience is an asset
• Experience loading trailers is an asset
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (i.e., able to lift 50lbs)
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
