Job type: part-time, permanent

Compensation: $18.50 – $21.00 per hour + gratuities

Job Responsibilities:

As a Line Cook at Carmen’s Group, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, beautifully presented dishes that meet our standards of excellence.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock your station with the ingredients and supplies needed for service
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and ready for the next task
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning
• Support food preparation and banquet plating, adapting to different cooking techniques and service styles
• Work with the culinary team to keep kitchen operations running smoothly and service on schedule
• Help kitchen leaders maintain a positive, productive work environment
• Take part in team meetings, training, and ongoing improvements
• Take pride in every dish you prepare
  
  

From restaurant service and private celebrations to large banquets, your work helps create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1-2 years of experience cooking in banquet, catering, or high-volume kitchen settings
• Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of cooking techniques
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Culinary trade certification or Red Seal is an asset
• Availability to work daytime, evening, weekend shifts
• Ability to guide and support kitchen team members
• Passion for food and a commitment to doing your best each shift
