City: Drayton Valley, AB
Contract type: Full time
Your Opportunity:
Step Into Rural Leadership. Experience Something New. Discover Drayton Valley. This temporary Site Manager opportunity at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre offers a compelling blend of professional growth and lifestyle balance. Working Monday to Friday, with participation in a Manager On-Call rotation, this role provides hands-on leadership experience within a supportive, close-knit healthcare team where your contributions are visible and valued. As a regional hospital serving a strong and connected community in central Alberta, approximately 130 km southwest of Edmonton, the site offers meaningful work, collaborative relationships, and an everyday quality of life advantage: no long commutes, no traffic congestion, and more time back in your day. Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre includes a 30 bed acute medical/surgical unit, a 24/7 Emergency Department, and endoscopic services, and provides an in-depth site orientation to support success in this unique rural environment. In contrast to large urban centres, rural leadership offers broader scope, closer collaboration, and the opportunity to be actively involved across operational, clinical, and community priorities, providing a different and highly valuable leadership experience than is often possible in a big city setting. Beyond the workday, Drayton Valley offers the space to truly recharge. You can spend your workweek leading with purpose, and your weekends enjoying what the community does best: exploring nearby rivers and trail systems, getting outdoors in local parks and surrounding natural areas, joining community events, or simply slowing down. With a lower cost of living than a big city, your dollar goes further here, supporting a lifestyle that balances meaningful work with affordability, simplicity, and time back for what matters most. Apply today.

In addition, you will oversee budget implementation and monitoring, risk management, quality assurance, and utilization activities.
