About The Role
As Clinical Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Clinical Director to ensure clinical excellence across all programs. You’ll oversee client care, staff development, health and safety, and quality assurance initiatives—all while championing trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Clinical Oversight:
Lead client intake, assessments, care planning, and discharge processes
Conduct client visits and case conferences
Ensure clinical practices align with regulatory standards and best practices
Support medication management and reconciliation
Provide direct care as needed
Employee Management & Development
Supervise and support coordinators and front-line staff
Deliver clinical training and education programs
Participate in performance evaluations and staff development
Lead Modified Work Programs and disciplinary processes
Operations & Quality Assurance
Represent Bayshore at community and healthcare events
Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health regulations and internal policies
Serve in the on-call manager rotation
Health & Safety
Co-chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee
Promote safe work environments and lead emergency preparedness
Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) protocols
Professional Conduct & Development
Maintain confidentiality and uphold privacy standards
Engage in continuing education and share knowledge with staff
Foster effective communication and positive relationships
Education And Experience Requirements
Current license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
5+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in home health or hospital settings
5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
COHN-C and JHSC certification preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and technological skills
Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance
Experience supporting neurodiverse individuals and those with complex needs including: acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviours and various mental health conditions
