We need a Manager, Finance and Procurement to join our leadership team!

As the successful applicant you will do the following:
- Lead the hospital’s financial operations – from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and controls
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to support leaders and key partners (Ontario Health, Ministry of Health)
- Turn financial data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions
- Partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen budget management
- Support audits and keep financial practices aligned with public sector standards
- Lead a fair, transparent procurement program aligned with Broader Public Sector (BPS) requirements
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing finance and materials management team
- Strengthen compliance and reduce risk through strong processes, internal controls, and continuous improvement
- Support capital accounting and reconciliation activities for the hospital redevelopment project, ensuring compliance with internal policies and collaborate with the Project Director, Planning and Strategy on Ministry of Health capital reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in finance and procurement
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and financial systems.
- Deep understanding of Ontario healthcare funding models, public sector procurement rules, and PSAS (Public Sector Accounting Standards)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare or broader public sector
- Experience using Meditech Expanse
- Experience using Workday Adaptive
