Material Handler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our clients Team at a leading aerospace facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely handling, moving, and storing materials to support production and operational requirements. This role requires compliance with government security standards and successful completion of the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) application, as well as a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for production and shipping.
• Safely transport materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as required.
• Ensure all aerospace materials and components are handled in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Support production teams by staging materials and assisting with material flow.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Follow company procedures and security requirements, including Controlled Goods Program compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of material handling, warehouse, or related experience (aerospace/manufacturing preferred).
• Must be able to successfully complete a Controlled Goods Program (CGP) application.
• Must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (valid forklift certification an asset).
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and security in the workplace.
