About The Role

Join CBRE as a Mobile Technician and play a hands-on role in keeping client facilities running at their best. You'll be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
  • Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
  • 25-30% travel required within Ontario across different sites. Overnight stays as required.
  • G2 Gas fitting license would be ideal and preferred.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

The salary range being offered for the Mobile Technician role is between $70,000 annually and $80,000 annually. The compensation that is provided to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
