Echo NDE is currently seeking a CGSB Certified UT1 Technician to join and contribute to our team. This is a full-time permanent position that will support our operations based out of Grande Prairie, AB.

  • Set up, calibrate, and verify ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of inspection results.
  • Execute NDE/NDT inspections using approved UT methods and techniques, with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Interpret and evaluate ultrasonic test data to identify discontinuities and assess acceptance criteria.
  • Accurately document, organize, and report inspection results in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company quality programs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with additional NDT methods (MT, PT, etc.) and general inspection tasks as required.
  • Maintain equipment, ensure proper care of tools, and uphold a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to support project execution and timelines.
  • CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT1 Certfication.
  • Additional CGSB certifications will be considered an asset.
  • Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
  • Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
  • Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  • Willing to learn and assist in various inspection techniques.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
