About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. The Role

Reporting to the manager, network and communications, the network administrator will participate in supporting enterprise operations and provide technical support as an operations team member in Cameco’s Business Technology Services department.

This is a 2-year temporary position.

In This Role, You Will

• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure and services.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and security technologies.
• Participate in network projects including deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Investigate network incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to operational issues and work collaboratively with business and technical teams to restore services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Research and evaluate emerging networking technologies and best practices.
  
  

Required

• bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field;
• three to five years of enterprise networking experience; and
• equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
  
  

Recommended

• CCNA certification or equivalent networking certification;
• experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure and services;
• experience participating in network implementation, upgrade, and lifecycle projects.

This is a hybrid work position, with a requirement to regularly be in the office 40% of the working time. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you during the recruitment process.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $107,000*
