What we offer

As a Sales Associate, you will build foundational sales skills while supporting multiple communities across the region. This rotational role is designed to provide hands-on experience, exposure to different products and markets, and the opportunity to develop into a future Sales Consultant. You will help deliver an exceptional customer experience while learning the full homebuying journey and contributing to our mission of providing The Best Homeowner Experience.


What you’ll do

  • Rotate across various locations to provide sales coverage based on business needs, staffing gaps, and peak traffic periods
  • Act as a point of contact for prospective purchasers across multiple sales offices and communities, providing consistent and professional support
  • Support the sales process by learning to identify customer needs, sharing accurate information on home features, pricing, and purchase procedures
  • Assist with conducting show home tours, reviewing site and floor plans, and explaining available options
  • Attend and support homeowner appointments at various stages of the sales journey
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of purchase agreements and required documentation in accordance with company policies
  • Support prospecting and follow-up activities, including responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Community Sales teams, including maintaining purchaser files and entering information into corporate systems
  • Track customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the corporate database
  • Continuously learn Mattamy’s products, processes, and sales approach through on-the-job training and coaching


What
you bring

  • 2+ years of sales experience (real estate or new home sales is an asset but not required)
  • A strong desire to learn and develop a career in new home sales
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work across multiple locations and communities as required
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Ability to learn and understand construction basics, site plans, and floor plans
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficiency with MS Office and comfort learning new systems
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering a great customer experience in all interactions


Bonus Points

  • Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.

Please note that being a licensed real estate sales representative is not a requirement of employment with the Company. Therefore, it may not be feasible to renew your salesperson registration if you were to be employed in a sales position with Mattamy Homes


Hours of work

This role will work on a 4 day per week schedule including weekends


Compensation

The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 – $110,000. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply
You will also be eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program, which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved
