PAINTER
As part of the Maintenance team, the painter reports to the Facility Services Leadership Team. The painter is responsible for preparing, painting, or finishing a variety of surfaces inside and outside schools and other Board sites. The incumbent also performs general maintenance work. The painter will be familiar with Fire Code and Safety Regulations, provide cost estimates and prioritize work orders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
HOURS: 0630-1500, 40 paid hours per week

- Completion of a current Certificate of Qualification as a Painter and licensed to work in Ontario
- Ability to understand and respond to the needs of diverse school communities.
- 3 ½ years related experience
- The ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
- Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Drivers’ License
- Clean driver’s abstract
