We are looking for a Parts Specialist to join our Parts team in Terrace, BC.

What's the challenge?

As the Parts Specialist, you play an integral role in selling parts which includes determining parts requirements with customers and technicians, expediting and providing order processing services.

• Prepare quotes, requisitions and process parts orders for both external customers and internal service department promptly and accurately, with timely follow up.
• Delivery and pick up of parts to and from service technicians expediently and efficiently.
• Process parts returned from work orders and customers in a timely manner.
• Telephone selling, inbound and outbound as required.
• Report customer satisfaction, trends and other useful information to Parts supervisor
• Operate within company policies, and promote positive image of company and its product lines, while working safely.
• Build rapport and maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
• Streamline processes and make recommendation for new processes
• Collaborate with freight and courier services to ensure efficient delivery of parts.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including counts, as required.
  
  

What do we expect from you?

Experience Required

• Successful completion of ITA parts apprentice program or 5+ years of direct experience.
• Proficient knowledge of equipment systems and repairs
• Good computer and systems knowledge
• Strong technical background and capable of communicating with technicians and customers regarding parts and service
  
  

Education Required

• Successful completion of ITA Parts & Warehousing Red Seal Certification or equivalent work experience
