About The Role

HUB continues to experience explosive growth and is seeking a dynamic Leader to join our Personal Insurance Leadership Team. This is an ideal role for a strong people leader with Personal Lines Insurance experience who is career driven, has a strong focus on employee engagement and customer experience. The role reports to our Personal Insurance Executive Leader.

What You’ll Do

• Provide effective leadership by motivating a team of insurance brokers, coaching and mentoring them to meet performance targets, adhere to company and industry standards, and provide an exceptional customer experience
• Foster a culture of professional growth and development among team members
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance company partners and stakeholders
• Establish and recommend strategies, policies and processes to improve the business
• Provide insight and direction to drive the company forward as a member of the Personal Insurance Leadership team
• Participate in the development and implementation of business plans and manage day-to-day operations to achieve key business goals

Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success

• 5+ years of Personal Insurance leadership experience
• RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing required
• Demonstrated success in building, engaging, and developing teams
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills
• Ability to think strategically and execute on vision
• A proven track record of achieving organizational objectives through effective leadership
• Strong knowledge of home and auto insurance underwriting policies
• Industry designations such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, or FCIP an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
