Overview

Our Client in Brantford is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Press Operator to join Their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in manufacturing and machining to contribute to a dynamic environment that values safety, precision, and teamwork.

Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor various types of press equipment to produce high-quality products.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on presses to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Assist with packaging finished goods and preparing products for shipment.
• Utilize forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to promote a safe working environment.
• Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
  
  

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing, machining, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting press machinery is highly desirable.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with packaging processes within a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment quickly are essential.
• Previous warehouse experience will be considered an asset but is not mandatory. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Candidates should possess a strong safety mindset and be committed to maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of their work.
  
  

Rotating Shifts Days, Afternoons, Nights

Pay $26.00 per hours shift premiums .50cents Afternoons, $1.00 Nights

3 weeks Vacation, Plus Benefits, RSP, Safety Shoe Allowance.
